This policy explains what personal information LuvMuggs collects, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to luvmuggs.com and to orders placed on it.

What we collect
| Information | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Name, shipping address, billing address | To pack your order and print a shipping label |
| Email address | Order confirmation, dispatch and tracking notices, replies to your enquiries |
| Phone number (optional) | Only used if a carrier needs it for a delivery attempt |
| Order history | To handle returns, warranty claims and repeat enquiries |
| IP address, browser type, pages viewed | Security, fraud prevention and understanding which products people look at |
| Messages you send us | To answer them, and to keep a record of what was agreed |
We never see your card number. Payments are handled entirely by PayPal or by the card processor on their own encrypted pages. What comes back to us is a confirmation that the payment succeeded and the last four digits, nothing more.
Who we share it with
Only where it is necessary to complete your order:
- FedEx – name, address and, where required, phone number, so the parcel can be delivered and cleared through customs. Because orders ship from our warehouse in Hong Kong, these details are also processed there and by the customs authorities of the destination country;
- Payment providers (PayPal, card processor) – the transaction data they need to take the payment;
- Our web host – which stores the site and its database on our behalf;
- Law enforcement or regulators – if we are legally required to.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not send your details to anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep your basket contents between pages, to keep you signed in if you have an account, and to remember your preferences. Blocking cookies in your browser will stop the shopping basket from working. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Marketing email
We only email marketing to people who opted in. Every message has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Transactional emails – order confirmations, dispatch notices, replies to your questions – are sent regardless, because they are part of fulfilling the order.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years, which is the period US tax and accounting rules require. Support correspondence is kept for two years. Marketing list entries are deleted as soon as you unsubscribe. Analytics logs are kept for twelve months.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- send you a copy of it;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it, where we are not legally required to keep it;
- stop using it for marketing.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know the categories of personal information collected, the right to deletion, the right to correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, there is nothing to opt out of – but you may still ask us to confirm that.
To make a request, email support@luvmuggs.com from the address on your order. We respond within 30 days and we do not charge for it.
Security
The whole site is served over HTTPS. Administrative access is limited to named accounts, and the database is not reachable from the public internet. No system is perfect; if we ever discover a breach affecting your data we will tell you and the relevant authority without delay.
Children
This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will post the new version here with a revised date, and email anyone on our list. This version is effective from 22 August 2026.
