We accept two payment methods, and both are processed by the provider on their own secure pages. Your card number is never entered on, transmitted to, or stored by luvmuggs.com.

PayPal
Choose PayPal at checkout and you are taken to PayPal’s own site to approve the payment, then returned here. You can pay from a PayPal balance, a linked bank account, or a card held in your PayPal wallet – we never see which. PayPal’s Purchase Protection applies to eligible orders in the usual way.
Visa
Visa credit and debit cards are accepted. Card details are entered on the processor’s encrypted payment page. What returns to us is an authorisation result and the last four digits of the card, which is what appears on your order record so you can identify which card was used.
When you are charged
The full amount – goods plus shipping – is taken when you place the order, not when it ships. If we cannot fulfil the order we refund it in full straight away.
What appears on your statement
The descriptor reads LUVMUGGS. If you see a charge you do not recognise, email support@luvmuggs.com with the amount and date before opening a dispute – it is almost always faster to resolve directly, and we would rather sort it out than have you chase a bank.
Currency
Every price on this site is in US dollars (USD). If your card or PayPal account is held in another currency, your provider converts at their rate and may add their own fee. That conversion happens on their side; we neither set it nor receive any part of it.
Failed or declined payments
A decline usually means a typo in the card number or billing ZIP, an expired card, or the bank’s fraud check stopping an unfamiliar merchant. Nothing is charged and no order is created when a payment fails. Try again, or use PayPal; if it keeps failing, call us and we will help.
Security
luvmuggs.com is served over HTTPS on every page, including the basket and checkout. We do not store card numbers, expiry dates or security codes anywhere – not in the database, not in an export, not in an email. That is not a policy choice we could reverse; the data never reaches us in the first place.
